At the foot of each post is the Tag and Go section, in here are a bunch of buttons which set a tag on the current post and take you somewhere else. This is what the tags mean

Yes but No

This is for dispositions where they agree that the OOXML standard is objectively wrong, but there is no intention to fix it, often due to conflicting objectives relating to backwards compatibility.

Trivial Fix Done

Many of the comments related to sloppy editing of the text of the standard. If a disposition is basically dotting i’s and crossing t’s then this is the tag it deserves. At the BRM a lot of the dispositions of this nature will be accepted in bulk on a paper vote.

Big Changes Proposed

If a disposition states wide reaching architectural changes, or a major edit of the standard then this may well be a big improvement in some ways, however it also needs more consideration, and re-testing. It could also mean that the current Microsoft Office 2007 won’t support the new standard.

Deprecated

A lot of the tags that ask an application to preserve the idiosyncrasies of old versions of Microsoft Office have been marked as Deprecated.

Application Defined

In some places the expected application behavior is not specified. The dispositions that state something is “application defined” really mean that the expected behavior is “whatever Microsoft Office does”.

Just Plain Silly

Add a comment first to explain why you are giving a disposition this tag, and save it for the silliest please!
